Villa Toscana

Villa Toscana is a traditional Tuscan villa rental set in very private and secure grounds and, situated in the hills, boasts excellent views towards Pisa, spectacular sunsets and it has been recently restored. Much care has been taken to maintain original features such as the typical wooden beamed ceilings, stone stairs and terracotta floors. The grounds are fully enclosed and access is via remote-controlled gates. It sleeps a maximum of 14 people. This charming Tuscan farmhouse is divided between the main house and the ‘limonaia’ annex (one double bedroom and bathroom with shower) which was once a barn. Both buildings are fully air conditioned/heated. The main house offers a well-equipped kitchen, dining room and very large living room. Doors from the kitchen and living room lead to an open terrace with charcoal barbecue, al fresco dining table for up to 10 people shaded by a large umbrella, and a further small table with 6 chairs. Just a short distance from this terrace are the steps down to the swimming pool (12m x 6m) which has a brick terrace, shady gazebo and 12 loungers. Inside the villa a bright and magnificent double living area features a fireplace and arches supporting large white beams which, from above, defer to the ancient terracotta flooring below, partially covered with rugs. The large, modern kitchen, perfectly equipped with all the necessary appliances, enables guests to prepare and enjoy wonderful meals which can be served indoors or outdoors, according to the season. The large and bright bedrooms are perfectly exquisite, two of them having their own terrace from which guests can admire the soft hills in the pink light of dawn or the golden rays of sunset. The decorating scheme is superb throughout the villa, not only in the living areas, one of which lies adjacent to the bedrooms. Outside An open terrace for outdoor dining runs the length of the house at the rear, with a barbeque. The terrace overlooks the private, enclosed garden featuring a large area of undulating lawns with century-old olive trees and interspersed with attractive flower beds. A swimming pool (6m x 12m) with its own sun terrace completes the picture. Pool towels and sun loungers are provided.
